He is a clinical diet for cats indicated for the management of chronic renal failure mainly.
Kidney processes requires a restriction of proteins, Purina NF has low amount of protein but of high quality so that they do not adversely affect your cat. Addition, it has a low phosphorus contentnecessary to kidney problems so they do not become serious and reduce the risk of hyperparathyroidism secondary to hyperphosphatemia for the kidney problem.
It contains potassium citrate added to reduce the risk of hypokalemia.
In addition, it's a diet not acidifying to avoid the risk of acidosis in chronic renal failure.

Indications:

Chronic kidney disease (CKD).Liver disease with encephalopathy.Reduction of recurrence of urinary calculi of urate and cystine.

It is contraindicated in periods of growth and reproduction.

Instructions for use:

In cats with CKD can be especially helpful to make a transition to the new diet.
Cats with chronic renal failure should be fed Feline NF indefinitely.
